As far as highchairs go the Graco Contempo highchair is really great. Not only is Graco a trusted brand but they guarantee all of their products and they are tested to insure safety. My highchair has held up through 2 children so far and I love it. This is a product I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a highchair. Different models may have slightly different features. I have the Rittenhouse and I love it because of all the little features it has. These weigh an average of about 20 pounds and they are made very sturdy. I leave my kids in theirs while I am working in the kitchen as well and they have never turned one over. They will even hold a child up to 40 pounds. You can tell that they use quality materials.

A good friend of mine uses the Avalon model of the Graco Contempo highchair and she loves hers as well. She got hers after seeing mine and while it's a little different it's still very nice. Hers has 3 point and five point harnesses but I like the 5 point better because it helps me feel my child is safer. Hers also has a cloth seat pad which is machine washable.

Clean up for mine is even easier. Everything can be wiped down with a wet cloth and be left to air dry. This is such a time saver for me. The tray is dishwasher safe and it comes with a spare if you need it. Clean up is done in minutes.

I didn't even have to put it together. It came ready to use right out of the box. That was a big plus for me because I hate items that require a lot of assembly. It also folds almost flat so you can store it just about any place you like. These are easy to put away in a matter of seconds.

Mine has wheels on it so I can even move it from room to room when I need to. The seat reclines for younger children and the height is adjustable as well. This was well worth what I paid for it and I would gladly buy this brand again.
